Truck Driver Falls Asleep, Causing an Accident While Hauling Doubles

A recent incident in Utah serves as a reminder of how critical it is for truck drivers to remain alert on the road. On the morning ofSeptember 18th , a FedEx driver hauling double trailers lost focus while driving northbound on Interstate 15 near exit 33 in Pintura, Utah. The driver, who was working while his co-driver rested, unfortunately dozed off, resulting in a collision. The semi sideswiped another truck before the driver overcorrected, leading to the rig's overturn.

The Aftermath: Minimal Traffic Impact Despite Rollover

Thankfully, despite the severity of the accident, the impact on traffic was kept to a minimum. Both trailers overturned onto the grassy shoulder of the highway.
